Margaret Stone, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Margaret (Peggy) Stone has practiced dentistry since 1988. After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, she went into private practice in Michigan while teaching at the dental school. During a trip “out east,” she fell in love with the quaint New England village of Woodstock, Vermont. She decided to move there and practiced there for 34 years.
Now Dr. Stone has decided to make the move to the Upper Valley in New Hampshire and is so happy to be joining our amazing team. She is looking forward to bringing all of her experience to the practice and hopes to be involved in this community, as well.
Dr. Sone’s emphasis has always been on complete health dentistry—dentistry as it relates to one’s overall wellbeing. She excels in cosmetic dentistry and is thrilled to give her patients something to smile about! She believes in creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort and enjoys being able to provide her services in an environment that is physically and emotionally comforting to her patients.
She is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association) and VSDS (Vermont State Dental Society). She has been affiliated with ITI (International Team for Implantology) and AAOSH (American Academy for Oral Systemic Health) and has offered many hours of volunteer service at the Red Logan Free Dental Clinic in White River Junction.
Dr. Stone shares her life with her husband, Michael, and they raised 5 children together. When not practicing dentistry, she can be found hiking, attending meditation retreats, attending theatrical productions, reading, traveling and cooking. Be sure to ask her for her favorite recipes.
Every single person I have interacted with here has been very kind and patient and helpful. They’ve really turned what could have been stressful experiences into pleasant ones. I trust everyone in this building and it’s absolutely worth the hour+ drive to get here from where I live for their amazing service.
