Steven Huffstutler, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Steven Huffstutler has been a dentist for over 35 years; after becoming fascinated with the dental field as a teen, Dr. Huffstutler pursued his dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. He loves making personal connections with his patients by caring for their dental needs over a long period of time. Through these personal connections, he believes he can help his patients feel more comfortable about their dental experiences.
When he isn’t taking care of his patients, Dr. Huffstutler enjoys membership in an invitation-only society for perennial gardening, as well as reading, walking, biking, and taking care of his pets. He has also completed over 15 years of voice training and loves playing the piano.

Amanda
Dental Assistant
Amanda has been with Horizon Dental for over 15 years. In her current role as a dental assistant, she prides herself on helping the dentist, as well as being able to fix things around the dental office. Amanda became radiology certified in Boston, but she learned a great deal about her position by first working at Horizon Dental’s front desk. She loves the family atmosphere and forming relationships with her patients.
When she isn’t at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her chickens and ducks, as well as riding motorcycles with her husband and son. On a sunny day, you might find her fishing for trout or visiting her favorite restaurants.
Madison, RDH
Hygienist
At the age of 15, Madison knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist. She loves to make connections with her patients and help them achieve their best smile; her goal is to make her patients look forward to their dental visits as much as she does. Madison spends her free time hiking, kayaking, and working out; in addition, she enjoys volunteering with the Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department, as well as coaching high school field hockey. Oh, and she loves tacos!
Karissa, CDA
Certified Dental Assistant
Karissa’s enthusiasm and excitement about helping patients makes her an excellent addition to the Horizon Dental family. She has been a dental assistant for over 14 years and recently received her CDA certification. Karissa spent time after high school traveling the world in Western Europe, North Africa, and Australia. She also spent 10 years riding sport bikes, so she definitely loves adventure!
Stacy
Account Manager
You will hear Stacy’s voice on the phone when you call Horizon Dental, and she will welcome you with a smile when you walk through the doors at our Brattleboro dental office. After working here for 16 years, Stacy is an expert at helping patients navigate dental benefits. Stacy has two beautiful teenage daughters and is recently married; she is enjoying watching her daughters grow into phenomenal young women. Ask her about a chicken, and she will have a story to tell!
Terry
Administrative Coordinator
Terry’s calming voice, along with her joyous laugh and generous smile, makes the patients at Horizon Dental love her. After working for 25 years in the non-profit sector, Terry works hard to ensure that every patient feels welcome and at home in the dental office. She loves working with patients, but in her spare time, Terry enjoys reading and visiting her home in Maine where she has 10 acres of blueberries. If you have recipes to share, Terry would love to have them!
Wendi, CDA, EFDA
Dental Assistant
Wendi began her journey in dentistry in 1993 when she graduated with honors as a dental assistant. She has since become a Certified Dental Assistant with certification in orthodontics and coronal polishing, and she also has certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Wendi loves helping patients with their oral health, but when she isn’t working, you can find her camping with her husband, son, and their various pets!
